Summary:
National Litigation Law Group (NLLG) is searching for an accounting manager to join its team in the firm’s Enid, Oklahoma office. The accounting manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, including cash forecasting, revenue analysis, assets, debts, payroll, and tracking the overall financial health of the firm. The accounting manager will supervise 2-3 employees in the accounting department to ensure all accounting functions are performed appropriately. The accounting manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team. The ideal candidate for this role will exemplify trustworthiness and possess a strong commitment to accuracy. This is an inoffice position at NLLG’s headquarters in Enid, Oklahoma, but a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days working remotely may be considered for the right candidate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
▪ Manage the firm’s financial accounts, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
▪ Supervise accounting department employees
▪ Publish financial statements timely
▪ Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
▪ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
▪ Ensure timely bank payments
▪ Manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and cash flow forecasting
▪ Prepare reports for company leaders
▪ Audit financial transactions and documents
▪ Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
▪ Develop standards and processes for proper financial management
▪ Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups
▪ Comply with financial policies and regulations
▪ Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the company’s objectives
Qualifications
▪ BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
▪ Additional certifications are a plus, but not required
▪ Work experience as an accountant or equivalent
▪ Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
▪ Hands-on experience with accounting software like Quickbooks
▪ Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
▪ Experience with general ledger functions
▪ Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
▪ Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
▪ Exceptional integrity
This position has supervisory responsibilities for 2-3 accounting employees that perform functions supporting the accounting department.
