General Description:
Shipyard Day Shift Foreman
Responsibilities:
· Shipyard Day Shift Foreman oversees and manages boat and barge repair projects from start to finish.
· Shipyard Day Shift Foreman coordinates and schedules employees, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Monitor and enforce quality control standards.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential risks.
· Manage project budgets and timelines, including construction estimating and control cost.
· Communicate with customers regarding any concerns or changes.
· Shipyard Day Shift Foreman ensures compliance with coast guard, and Osha regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the Maritime industry
· Strong knowledge of shipyard repair methods, materials, and processes
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a crew.
· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
