POSITION SUMMARY:
With adherence to established timelines, confidentiality, and quality standards, this position coordinates the activities of Patient Financial Assistance program, ensures efficient daily operations and contributes to program outcomes. This is a remote position (US). #LI-Remote

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Patient Financial Assistance Project Coordination:
- Daily intake of Patient Financial Assistance applications
- Reviewing financial assistance applications for eligibility requirements and accuracy of information
- Requesting clarification on missing or inaccurate application information from applicants
- Entering approved application information into Oracle finance system for patient payment
- Create FedEx labels for mailing patient payments
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of the Patient Financial Assistance program
- Responds to calls and email inquiries from patients and health care providers about the Patient Financial Assistance program
- Maintains confidential records
- Manages and improves upon program procedures and processes
- Help team members troubleshoot issues
- Participates in development Standard Operating Procedures
- Follows established departmental policies, confidentiality requirements, procedures and quality improvement efforts
Patient Financial Assistance Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Patient Financial Assistance team as needed
- Collaborates with other department coordinator and administrative staff as needed
- Schedules meetings and conference calls as requested
- Responds, as appropriate, to phone, electronic and written requests for information.
- Assists with the development, production and distribution of reports, newsletters, and other communications for distribution
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:

Education and/or Experience:
- Certificate or AA degree from a two-year accredited administrative, business-related or health care related program. Upon evaluation, three years related experience in addition to the minimum required may be substituted for the certificate or degree
- Two or more years clerical or administrative support and program coordination experience in a complex and fast paced position that required the use of interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as electronic file management, word processing, spreadsheet, mail-merge, presentation, and database software programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
- Experience with medical terminology preferred
- Second language a plus

The anticipated salary range for this role is $23.32-$27.50, and will be commensurate with market pay, experience and qualifications.
