Position Summary:
NMS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Support Technician for our Central Florida office in Clermont, FL. This is an in-person role, with the possibility of remote work opportunities after tenure. The IT Support Technician will report to IT Manager(s) and support various departments by ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a meaningful impact in supporting communities and protecting the environment through their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to IT Manager(s) and provide support to various departments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, infrastructure, and device issues.
- Maintain a secure environment using knowledge of cybersecurity, programming, and data practices.
- Manage and track the inventory and distribution of technology assets.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the data collection system.
- Support team members in QA/QC processing activities.
- Take the initiative to identify and implement new processes that benefit the team and company.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure effective use of new and proprietary software.
- Work with the implementation team to facilitate smooth software adoption and usage.
- Generate and distribute reports from multiple software platforms to key decision-makers.
- Advocate for and implement emerging technologies that enhance company operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an IT-related role.
- A strong desire to make an impact in helping communities and the environment.
