National Mobile X-ray is a mobile radiology provider operating state-wide in North Carolina. The job consists of driving a company vehicle to various long-term care facilities across the region and performing X-Ray exams, EKG's, and Ultrasound.

We seek a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in providing high-quality medical imaging services to patients in various settings. The X-ray Technologies will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment while adhering to best practices in medical imaging.
We have Immediate openings for Certified ARRT X-ray techs. National Mobile X-Ray is the premier provider of mobile radiology services throughout NC and many other states.
This role is a travel tech position requiring you to commute to the facilities. This could be driving into the necessary service areas within the surrounding areas of the cities below.
Career Opportunity Locations -Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, Hickory, High Point, Fayetteville, and New Bern. 3-12s; 9am-9pm.
We are offering a relocation package and a $3500 sign-on bonus (full-time position)
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Explaining the procedure to the patient
- Positioning the patient properly
- Positioning Radiation protection devices such as lead shields
- Setting X-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient’s body
- Setting Controls on the X-ray machine to produce X-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contract.
- Placing exposure board beneath and under the part of the patient’s body to be examined and make the exposure
- Computer knowledge
- Transmitting images via web-based PACs system
- Following the Physician's instructions and orders precisely
- Keeping patient records and adjusting/maintaining equipment
- Ability to travel short and long distances to place of service
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- NC driver's license with a clean record - required
