Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and ensuring accurate stock levels to support business operations.
Duties
- Moving and storing materials using equipment like forklifts
- Unloading, unpacking, and inspecting materials for damage or defects.
- Ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensuring the accurate reception and recording of shipments
- Coordinate with Purchasing for timely stock replenishment
- Implement strategies for efficient stock management
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more on a daily basis
- Be able to climb up and down continuously
- Must know how to drive a forklift
- Must be willing to working in an indoor building that is not heated in the winter or air conditioned in the summer
- Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong analytical skills to interpret inventory data effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
