We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Closer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience working with FHA, VA, and conventional loans, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the closing process. The Mortgage Closer will be responsible for assembling final loan documentation, ensuring proper follow-up after closing, preparing closed loans for delivery to the appropriate parties, and verifying all closing data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Final Closing Package: Review loan files and organize the necessary documents to compile a complete and accurate closing package for FHA, VA, and conventional loans.
- Post-Closing Document Follow-Up: Ensure all required documents are collected and follow up on any missing items after the closing process.
- Ship Closed Loans to Relevant Parties: Prepare and forward the completed loan packages to investors, servicers, or government agencies as per requirements.
- Verify and Input Accurate Data: Ensure all closing data is correct, and input information into the system with attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- At Least 5 Years of Closing Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in mortgage closing, particularly with FHA, VA, and conventional loans.
- Strong Knowledge of TRID Guidelines: A thorough understanding of TRID regulations and the ability to apply them during the closing process.
- In-Depth Knowledge of Real Estate and Financial Regulations: Extensive experience with real estate regulations, appraisal standards, and financial statements is required.
