Description:
The Credit Manager is a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit risk management and ensuring the company's financial health. The Credit Manager will work closely with sales, operations, and accounting teams to develop and implement credit policies, monitor credit risk, and manage accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk.
- Analyze credit applications and make lending decisions based on financial data and risk assessment.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
- Manage the collections process, including contacting delinquent customers and negotiating payment plans.
- Analyze and report on credit performance metrics, including delinquency rates, write-offs, and recovery rates.
- Work with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth credit processes and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor credit analysts and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to credit risk management.
