Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic development, implementation and continuing improvement of Quality system required by (a) accrediting bodes (b) legislation (c)Internal audit and performance measuresEnsure requirements of Quality Management within Rig Technologies are met and Quality process applied in all facilitiesEffective management and support of Facility Quality Managers in all quality requirementsLiaising with Rig Technologies Operational Management on matters relating to Quality processLiaising with Regional Quality Departments to ensure effective and consistent application of QA systems and alignment of structure for the Rig Technologies quality groupDeveloping systems for the management and promotion of standardisation of quality systems throughout the Rig technologies operationsEnsuring use of Standardized global technical and quality documents. Monitor uptake through audit of each facility Ensure standardised approach to controlling and conducting internal audits and establish audit schedules throughout the regional operationsDeveloping and maintain high-level, standardised Quality procedures and policies appropriate to the organisations purposeLiaise with Global Quality group to ensure NOV’s quality processes are aligned across the Rig Technologies group Conducting Management Review meetings with Operational Managers from each Quality group Ensuring Quality objectives and KPIs including those which are needed to meet requirements for product / service are established by senior management are distributed and measured in each operationPresentation of collated quality objective metrics to the regional management team Participate in standardised approach to scheduling, controlling, and conducting Supplier & Internal Audits Advise management on risk within the facility and prepare / review assessments as requiredEnsure Risk Management, Management of Change (MOC) and Contingency process are correctly followed Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line managerTravel as and when requiredSKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDStrategicAnticipates the impact of change and rises to the challenge, with the ability to accept risk and uncertainty – Able to deal with ambiguity and critical thinkingAble to understand the business needs and driversOperatingAble to define, work within and improve business processes based on immediate and future business needsWill set clear, stretching goals and assign responsibilities that bring out the best work from people Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocksCourageCan identify the skills required by the business and hire effectively Can be counted on to take personal responsibility in challenging situations and be willing to engage in disputes to settle them equitably – Excellent at conflict management through cooperationEnergy and DriveWill dependably achieve what he or she sets out to do, and expects others to do likewise Personal and InterpersonalAble to motivate a wide range of individuals, including direct reports, team members, and project membersFirm and diplomatic when negotiatingQualifications Minimum 6 years’ experience with at least 4 years as a leader of international teams with remote employees4 -6 years’ experience in a similar role Degree in Quality related subject Higher education in a technical field such as engineering or businessComputer literacy (Proficiency in MS applications and Adobe)API / ISO Lead Auditor certification Proficient in applicable API and ISO standards and requirements.Excellent Written and Oral CommunicationsCQI / ASQ membership (or Equivalent)Quality Control knowledge and technical knowledge of NOV products Working knowledge of NOV supported systemsFull timePosting Date : 2025-02-10
