What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medical Services Program Director position at National Park College?
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE : The Emergency Medical Sciences Program Director is responsible for all aspects of the program including administration, continuous review and analysis, meeting classroom and laboratory activities, student advising and committee work. This position is an 11.5 month contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Continuous review, planning, evaluation of the program for effectiveness and achievement of accreditation standards.
- Student advising and nursing and college committee work will be expected.
- Instructs students in specialized educational programs by lecturing in classroom and laboratory settings and developing and providing individual instruction as required.
- Interprets policies, programs and procedures related to the delivery of services.
- Seeks, selects and uses resources compatible with student / program needs.
- Implements a variety of strategies or approaches to meet the needs of students, including consulting with students, families and school staff, as necessary.
- Assesses and documents attainment of program objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
