What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech / Limited Licensed Tech - Hot Springs Village position at National Park Medical Center?
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury as prescribed by a physician. Operates DR equipment. Determines proper technique. Instructs patients for the proper view of the affected area. Maintains technique charts in room in compliance with state and federal regulations. Operates radiographic equipment and monitors its operation. Complies with infection control procedures. Responsible for EKG’s and lab draws. Assists in clinic setting as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
X-ray certification/license in good standing. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. Computer skills required. Able to flex his/ her work schedule to meet the demands of the clinic schedule. Must provide a positive image of the clinic and hospital to the community. Work is fast paced requiring ability to independently prioritize work and meet varied deadlines. Work is of medium demand requiring walking, sitting, standing, stooping and bending. Must become knowledgeable about facility policies.
