Description

We provide mental health therapy and psychiatric rehabilitation for all ages and groups in a community-based Outpatient Mental Health Center.

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP) Counselor is responsible for the direct provision of rehabilitation and support services to participating consumer. Consumers being minors and adults. (Must have experience working with minors)

The PRP Counselor visits consumers in their homes and communities, and provide services in the home, community, or program site.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Conduct regularly scheduled consumer visits.
  • Provide identified PRP rehabilitation and support services in accordance with the consumer's Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP).
  • Conduct Rehabilitation groups and activities to address rehabilitation and support service needs.
  • Maintain required and consistent documentation for each client, including contact/progress notes, monthly summaries, and quarterly reviews.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervisions.
  • Shares/transmits the mission and vision of National Pike Health Center to staff and to clients and families served.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure outcomes and practice requirements are met while taking into consideration the level of care of clients served.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, NPHC policy, and COMAR standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Requirements

Requirement: A bachelor's degree in a health-related field; An associate's degree in a health-related field; 30 hours, or their equivalent, of college credit toward a bachelor's degree in a health-related field; or 1 year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting.
