Summary of Description:
The Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our customers’ swimming pools. Service Technicians are customer facing and are expected to approach each job professionally to maintain our high standard of customer care.
Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Technical knowledge and experience in the pool industry is preferred, but not required
Familiarity with the different manufacturers/brands of equipment is preferred
Able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report
Must have valid driver’s license, 3 years verifiable driving history and clean driving record
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or other pool certification a plus

Essential Functions:

Perform the cleaning and water balance of swim
Scrub pool tiles, floors, and walls of swimming pools
Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets
Net pool surface to clear out leaves and other debris
Vacuum pool floors and stairs
Clean and backwash pool filters
Check all pool chemical levels and ensure proper pool chemistry at each pool
Add chlorine, acid, and other chemicals to correct the water balance
Visually inspect pool and advise any next steps to the client
Check pool equipment to ensure proper operation
Drive the company vehicle to customer’s location
Daily walk around and inspection of assigned company vehicle
Perform regular truck inspections and notify mechanic of any issue that arises in real-time
Maintain equipment, supplies, and chemical stock inventory levels in the vehicle
Complete paperwork and reporting service requirements to management
Communicate to internal team, and with customers through email and messaging applications
Perform other related duties as assigned
