The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of generators, automatic transfer switches, and diesel or gaseous engine components, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on generator sets and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues related to generators, automatic transfer switches, and diesel or gaseous engine components.
- Conduct load bank testing on generators to ensure units are in proper operating conditions and meet applicable code requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete large multi-person jobs or resolve complicated issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in electrical/mechanical field preferred.
- Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
- Experience working with generators, automatic transfer switches, and diesel or gaseous engine components highly desirable.
