Job Summary

Finance Responsibilities:
• Invoicing and payment processing
• A/R collection effort and documentation, maintenance of monthly aging reports
• Payroll journal entries
• Manage credit card and expense reports, posting expenses in finance system
• Daily Batches
• Enter and code invoices, process and distribute checks as necessary
• Prepaid expenses
• Balance Sheet reconciliations

and members of NPCA through accurate and timely accounting.
Some examples are:
• Processing member invoices and payments timely
• Paying vendors correctly and by the due date
• Ensuring that all expenses are coded to the correct department
Key Qualifications and Experience
• Two to three years of general accounting experience, preferably a not-for-profit or association
• A bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, or relevant experience is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Understanding of non-profits and/or associations is preferred
• Get-r-done mentality
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive teams
• Experience engaging with committees and fostering member relationships
• Willingness to Travel: Must be available for occasional overnight travel within the U.S. and
Canada
