Job Summary
RAM Mounts is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a custodian you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises. The best fit for this position will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in production areas, breakrooms, restrooms, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities to uphold hygiene standards.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, equipment, counters, doorknobs, windows, and light switches to remove dirt, debris, and fingerprints.
- Maintain restroom and breakroom supplies stock.
- Shampoo rugs and carpets to remove stains and dirt buildup.
- Wash windows to keep them clean and streak-free.
- Use commercial vacuums, window washing tools, and carpet cleaners effectively and safely.
- Ensure common areas including, but not limited to kitchens, breakrooms, and lobby are clean, organized, and presentable, for employees and visitors.
- Collaborate with maintenance and facilities team members to address cleaning and maintenance needs effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years Experience desired but not required.
- Knowledge and handling of standard cleaning equipment, methods, chemicals, and hazards.
- Knowledge of or willing to learn occupational hazards.
- Ability to use a smart phone to manage job tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Effective communication skills clearly read, write, and comprehend English.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
