Job Description:
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will provide business support for National Railroad Safety Services including managing correspondence, clerical, light maintenance, and answering phone calls.
Required Education:
Associates degree in business or accounting field preferred (or equivalent combination)
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1 year preferred

Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working a front desk is preferred, but not required.
- Must have experience using scanners and working with PDFs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Must be a team player with a willingness to complete a multitude of varying task
Job Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize, scan, and file documents
- Direct visitors to scheduled appointments
- Accept and put away deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area and kitchen
- Organize storage closets and spaces
- Distribute bulk supplies such as reams of paper
- Send and receive mail
- Work well in team environment using strong collaborative skills
- Maintains strong relationships with internal and external business partners
- Performs light maintenance duties
- Performs additional task as assigned
Work Environment:
This job operates in an office environment.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and carry 30lbs for a moderate length
- Must be able to stand on their feet for a moderate period of time
