We have an exciting internship opportunity for a student to learn valuable insights about the retail industry and the role of a trade association. Do you have a passion for the retail industry? Hourly Rate : $21 - $26
Location : Washington, D.C. Office
This role will support the work of NRF’s Center for Digital Risk & Innovation (CDRI), NRF’s hub for engagement on key technology issues that have significant policy and risk management implications for the global retail industry. The Center engages with retailers, industry partners and other stakeholders to develop guidelines and recommended best practices on technology issues and inform decision-making and risk management by retail business leaders.
Essential Functions :
- Carry out research and writing in support of current CDRI projects, including with respect to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and fraud prevention.
- Support engagement with external stakeholders on CDRI work products
- Support planning for meetings of NRF’s technology-focused councils and committees, including the NRF AI Working Group
- Attend and provide reports from relevant tech policy-related events and hearings in DC
- Perform other duties as assigned
