Job Overview :

The Facility Maintenance Manager will oversee the comprehensive maintenance operations of our facility. This pivotal role involves managing the maintenance, repair, and overall appearance of the facility, outdoor grounds, and security, as well as overseeing the maintenance of power industrial equipment and coordinating with third-party service providers. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence by optimizing safety, efficiency, and budget management within the maintenance department.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Direct and ensure the safety and productivity of maintenance teams engaged in building, grounds, equipment, and security tasks.
• Manage labor hours and maintenance supplies within budget constraints, effectively scheduling work including additional shifts as required.
• Oversee emergency response and crisis management activities, maintaining strong connections with local emergency services and organizations.
• Strategize the acquisition, utilization, and inventory management of company assets, ensuring optimal support for the facility’s infrastructure.
• Facilitate seamless coordination with other departments for efficient upgrades and repairs, enhancing facility operations.
• Foster robust relationships with third-party vendors (janitorial, pest control, external contractors) to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
• Implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures, actively participating in the enhancement of facility maintenance processes.
• Develop and enforce preventative maintenance schedules for all facility systems and equipment, ensuring long-term reliability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and guide all maintenance projects, utilizing tracking software for quality control and timely completion.
• Conduct thorough audits, ensuring compliance with required inspections and documentation to minimize potential losses.
• Maintain active engagement with maintenance teams through regular meetings, open communication, and monitoring morale, fostering a positive work environment.
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently, providing training and disciplinary action as needed.
• Collaborate with the Safety department to promote a safe working environment through routine inspections and incident investigations.
• Handle management duties including staff selection, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to OSHA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
