Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our logistics operations team. This position involves operating material handling equipment to efficiently move inventory, process shipments, and ensure smooth warehouse operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:
· Operate material handling equipment to locate, transport, and deliver products within the warehouse and to staging areas for shipment.
· Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for last-mile delivery or long-haul transport.
· Verify the quantity and quality of incoming goods from suppliers and other distribution centers in the logistics network.
· Use logistics software and packing lists to accurately pick and pack items for customer orders, including building mixed pallets for efficient shipping.
· Examine and inspect inventory for discrepancies, damages, or quality issues, reporting any problems to management.
· Maintain organization within the warehouse by returning misplaced items and adhering to inventory management protocols.
· Uphold a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company safety policies and logistics industry standards.
· Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control functions to ensure accurate stock levels.
· Work flexibly across various logistics processes, including receiving, sorting, packing, and dispatch.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations preferred
· Ability to operate logistics-specific material handling equipment (training provided if necessary)
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced logistics environment
· Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to [specify weight] pounds
