Requirements and Responsibilities: The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the rules and regulations for our school as set by the Texas Workforce Commission and will be required to meet annual reporting requirements. All student enrollments are processed by the admissions coordinator. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate paperwork and following specific processes. The admissions coordinator will possess a personable approach as they are required to call incoming students and request signatures and data to complete the enrollment process.
This position reports to the NRVTA Director of Administration. This is a full-time position in Athens, Texas located at the Big Red School House & Community Center. This individual will be required to work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Pre-approved overtime is occasionally required when meeting reporting deadlines.
- Work alongside the Student Advisor team to receive incoming student enrollment packages.
- Communicate professionally with students to request required enrollment verification documents. Reach out through email, company SMS texting and phone calls to answer questions and provide students with timely responses.
- Possess and maintain a high integrity for maintaining confidential student data.
- Organize and process all enrollment requests in a timely manner to meet processing deadlines.
- Update company systems to reflect current data for incoming students.
- Perform quality control checks and utilize accuracy measures to ensure data is correct and able to be used in required reporting.
- Serve as back up for the billing coordinator.
- Work closely with other administrative staff and department heads.

- High school degree or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience necessary, 7 years preferred.
- College/University academic employment experience preferred.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills with stakeholders, anticipate needs, determine priorities, and meet deadlines by following through effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to high level of customer service.
- Strong ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact effectively with staff, students and contacts outside the organization.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
