What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration Associate - Part Time position at National Safety Council, Nebraska?
The registration associate will be responsible for greeting customers, answering calls and emails, provide product information, and help the customer by being informative, empathetic, and eager to quickly assist with a customer’s requirements. Must be willing to listen, learn, and resolve any customer inquiry that crosses your desk.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Register individuals in person, online or by phone for all NSCN classes including Traffic and Behavior Enrichment, Community Safety, Workplace Safety Services and Member Services.
- Greet and assist customers in the registration and reschedule process. Answer questions via telephone and e-mail and respond to voice mail and e-mail messages in a timely manner. Assist customers who are registering on-line.
- Follow all cash handling procedures.
- Sort and file income traffic/diversion tickets and files.
- Assist with Driver’s Education and Motorcycle registrations.
- Complete Handgun registrations and renewals when needed.
- Regular, predictable attendance.
- Abides by all policies and procedures of the Safety and Health Council.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Experience working with customer support.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
