We are seeking a Part-Time Instructor to teach our Defensive Driving Course (DDC) curriculum to adult and teen motorists. This role involves conducting classroom courses on safe driving practices, teaching life-saving Driver Safety Course material, and providing full instructor certification training to qualified candidates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in public speaking, effective classroom discussion leadership, and handling diverse groups of students. A background in sociology, psychology, counseling, or education is preferred. You must also possess strong communication skills and be able to deal with unexpected difficulties such as equipment failures, facility issues, and disruptions to class. Bilingual abilities in English, Spanish, or Portuguese are a plus.
