Duties And Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Lead a team of 1-2 financial analysts chartered with providing financial information to assist management in making well informed business decisions.
- Play a leadership role in FP&A team and mentor other associates, drive engagement, and high-performance collaboration team culture.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, operating expense, and capital expenditures.
- Create insightful and actionable analysis of results, including identification of necessary action steps in response to key variances.
- Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company.
- Maintain monthly financial forecasting models including risks/opportunities in partnership with functional owners.
- Responsible for taking on a leadership role during budget cycles.
- Support and/or lead highly visible special projects for Leadership on an ad hoc basis.
- Develop framework to explain how metrics and KPIs correlate and link to value creation.
- Involves frequent communication with executive leadership on issues of significance.
- Build new tools, automation, analytics capabilities, and data visualization to better communicate performance (variance to plan), trends, outlook, scenarios, and risks/opportunities to executive leadership.
- Structure and evaluate business problems, design, and implement actionable recommendations, define and monitor KPIs.
- Assist on other recurring and ad hoc deliverables as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics, or related field preferred
- 5-7 years of business finance, business analytics or other relevant experience required
- Demonstrated leadership strength and team development
