What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Services Associate position at National Speaker Association?
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Respond promptly to telephone and email inquiries, providing timely and accurate replies and service.
- Assist in onboarding new members by sending welcome materials and guiding them through benefits.
- Investigate inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and report service problems and trends to the Director of Member Experience.
- Provide a positive experience and professional service to external and internal constituents.
- Process orders, payments, and refunds for memberships, online store orders, and event registrations.
- Manage calendar, travel, administrative activities and other specialty areas to meet the needs of the CEO and team members.
- Consistently live and model the organization’s core values.
- NSA’s guiding values and the competencies defined for this job are consistently demonstrated.
- Confidence to engage with the team to reach common goals and solve problems
- Initiative to take on projects on your own and foresee potential problems and tasks
- Willingness to continually learn new things, as well as understand and master processes
- Ability to recognize potential problems and develop a solution
- Discipline to successfully work without close supervision
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
- Overnight travel may be required to attend multi-day annual conferences and quarterly staff retreats.
- Other responsibilities as defined and needed.
