Position Overview:
National Therapy Center is seeking a part-time BCBA to join our growing ABA department, providing in-home services during evenings and weekends. We welcome candidates who have recently completed their BCBA exam or those with prior BCBA experience. This role offers the opportunity to support clients in Montgomery County, MD, and Washington, DC.
Essential Job Functions:
- Program Management: Develop and oversee individualized skill and behavioral programs for a set caseload of clients.
- Behavior Plans: Create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide regular training and support to parents/caregivers to enhance client success.
- Direct Client Services: Deliver direct services, maintaining at least 5 -10 weekly billable hours.
- Supervision: Supervise RBTs and Behavior Technicians, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and ABA principles.
- Assessments: Conduct assessments, including VB-MAPP, to guide treatment plan development.
- Documentation: Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, evaluation reports, and treatment updates.
- Consultations: Conduct school and case consultations as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Directors to ensure high-quality services are delivered consistently.
Job Requirements:
- Certification: Must hold a current BCBA certification and state LBA licensure.
- Team Collaboration: Enjoys working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and applicable insurance for business travel are required.
- Experience: Prior experience in ABA services, including in-home or clinic-based settings.
- Compensation:
- Compensation for this position is between $65 – 85 per hour.
- You will have a caseload of 2-3 families.
- It will take between 2-3 weeks to build your caseload.
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
