We’re seeking a Full-Time Early Intervention Pediatric Physical Therapist who’s dedicated to providing exceptional therapy services to children facing developmental and motor challenges. Your Role at a Glance:
As an Early Intervention (EI) Pediatric Physical Therapist, you’ll play a key role in creating individualized treatment plans and providing therapy to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s development. You’ll have the rewarding opportunity to support and guide children through their motor development and rehabilitation journey, making a lasting impact on their lives.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule Flexibility: Work availability between 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, with a typical workday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Engaging Work Environment: Deliver services primarily in schools and daycare settings, offering a mix of direct therapy in natural environments.
- Caseload Growth: Expect to build a manageable caseload within 2-4 weeks, with support from our experienced team.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct Evaluations & Treatment Planning: Perform assessments to understand each child’s unique needs and create tailored treatment plans to help them achieve their developmental goals.
- Deliver Direct Therapy: Offer hands-on therapy focused on motor development and rehabilitation, fostering growth and skill improvement in every session.
- Monitor Progress & Adapt Plans: Track client progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure optimal effectiveness and success.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech, occupational, and ABA therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Family Support & Empowerment: Educate and guide families to support their child’s development at home, making them active partners in the therapy process.
- Accurate Documentation & Reporting: Maintain timely, detailed records of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress updates.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure & Certification: A licensed PT in Washington, DC, with a valid CPR certification.
- Pediatric Passion & Experience: Prior experience with pediatric clients is preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic new graduates ready to make a difference.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to climb stairs, lift 10 pounds, and stay physically active throughout your workday.
