Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Baker City, Oregon. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift schedule, and will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
- Position patients and adjust scanning parameters to ensure accurate and safe image acquisition.
- Analyze images to detect abnormalities and assist radiologists in interpreting results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT scanner operations, radiation safety, and patient positioning techniques.
