What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at National Tech Installers?

Job Description

Growing structured cabling company seeks motivated technicians for deployment of cables and equipment in low voltage environments. Qualified individuals will have experience in fiber optics, CAT / twisted pair, DAS cellular, BDA life safety installations.

You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities :

Install and repair telecom / datacom equipment and fixtures
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems, as well as cable
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Perform routine maintenance of data cabling and systems
Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications :

Previous experience in structured cabling, fiber, CAT, DAS

Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals

Familiarity with telecom / datacom equipment and hand tools

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
