RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO : Management of multiple projects simultaneously Interface between Element technical personnel and customers Review / approve test data to assure adherence to customer and NTS quality requirements Setup and performance of Vibration, Mechanical Shock (i.e. SRS) and Acoustic tests Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed Data collection utilizing vibration control systems, thermocouples, and accelerometers Analysis and verification of test setups, test levels and requirements Troubleshooting and buildup of test fixtures, test configurations and electrical setups Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS : Self-motivated, dependable, and responsible person requiring little direct supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving skillset Excellent people skills, must be strong team player and willing to adapt as necessary Ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to multitask and complete tasks with minimal supervision Excellent computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required Proven ability to learn at a fast pace with minimal training Willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : BS Mechanical Engineering / Physics Degree or equivalent experience 2 years of experience operating electrodynamic vibration systems Familiarity with MIL-STD810, and / or RTCA-DO160 test methodology LabView programming experience is a plus What We Offer : Competitive salary and benefits package. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. General office or test lab environment with exposure to sudden, loud noises The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
