What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Center Supervisor position at National Testing Network?
Job Summary:
The Test Center Supervisors key responsibility is oversight of the written and physical ability test administration and the testing site operations at our Everett facility. This includes proctor coordination and scheduling, candidate management, test security, facility management, exam administration and the oversight of examinations administered at the site for quality. The Test Center Supervisor will also conduct Virtual Testing sessions when able. The Test Center Supervisor is required to uphold all professional standards and policy and procedures set by National Testing Network (NTN).
The job requires that you work in the Everett site Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month (subject to change as needed).
Essential Functions:
- Oversee and ensure proctor compliance in the administration of exams as instructed by NTN to provide consistent and fair test administration to all candidates (internal and external: also includes updating training materials and SAs)
- Supervise Everett proctor team (staff scheduling, point of escalation, discipline and mentor, Payroll/HR)
- Conduct exam proctoring for written and physical abilities as needed
- Conduct exam proctoring for virtual written exams as needed
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to all candidates
- Ensure timely submittal of rating sheets and reports for scoring and other processing
- Administer and help coordinate off-site testing along with Testing Services Supervisor (including travel, set up, test administration and break down)
- Hire and train new proctors in coordination with Testing Services Supervisor and Testing Services Manager
- Oversees cleanliness, equipment maintenance and professionalism of facility
- Manage Everett escalations and incident resolution in coordination with Support Supervisor and Testing Services Supervisor
- Oversee all test center scheduling (internal and external locations: enter monthly schedules, monitor capacity, make modifications as requested)
- Monitor available slots on the Everett Testing Center schedule and coordinate additional administration days as necessary to meet demand
- Everett test center audits
- Administrative duties as needed for efficient daily operations
- Support candidate recruiting events as needed
- Hosting Virtual Proctoring/Standby sessions
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must participate in Proctor training provided by NTN and on the job training including (but not limited to) reading manuals, test administration guides and job shadowing.

All proctors must pass an annual Proctor Certification exam (for written exams) and a CPAT Certification (for physical ability exams) as it applies to their position.

Work Environment:
Physical abilities testing is conducted both indoors and out. Regular exposure to outdoor weather including high heat, wind, wet, or freezing conditions for up to 30 minutes.
