What You’ll Do
- Model best practices through engaging math lesson demonstrations
- Lead interactive, standards-based training sessions rooted in NTN methodology
- Coach and mentor teachers to improve classroom instruction and student outcomes
- Collaborate with school and district leaders to align efforts and meet professional development goals
- Analyze classroom data and help teachers plan purposeful, standards-aligned instruction
- Provide actionable feedback and complete regular reports on coaching impact
- Stay current with trends in mathematics education and contribute to continuous program improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Certified educator with at least 5 years of math teaching experience (3 consecutive years in the classroom)
- Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards – Mathematics (K–12) and Standards for Mathematical Practice (or your state specific process and content standards)
- Skilled in mentoring, instructional coaching, and classroom observation
- Mastery-level content knowledge and the ability to inspire and support educators
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient in planning, feedback, and data analysis
- Familiarity with NTN’s Key Elements to Mathematics Success curriculum is a plus
