What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist-2nd Shift 4x10 position at National Tube Supply Co.?
Commercial Fluid Power, a subsidiary of the National Tube Supply Company, specializing in supplying machining services to the fluid power industry is in search of a CNC Machinist for our 2nd shift working 4x10 reporting to our Dover, OH location. These services include boring, honing, welding and machining.
Job Duties Include But Not Limited To
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Thursday
Work Location: Dover, OH
Job Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Perform necessary machining operations as outlined in job routing
- Use overhead crane to move parts in and out of machines
- Setup material, machine, and tools to perform necessary machining operations
- Set feed rate, speed, and depth of cut based on material, tool, and operation type to maximize equipment efficiency
- Use precision gauging to make offset adjustments to machines to ensure compliance to specifications detailed in job routing and blue print
- Check & certify gauges
- Extended periods of time standing and walking on concrete floors
- Experience setting up and running CNC and/or manual mills / lathes
- Experience with precision measurement devices
- Experience with blueprint reading and other technical drawings
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
