Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery, picking up, and the service of products. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to operate various delivery equipment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. Must have or be willing to get a Class-E drivers license. Need to be 21 years or older.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as forearm forklifts, shoulder dolly, etc.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at each destination.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in driving commercial vehicles with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in route driving or delivery driving is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
