Responsibilities
- Load and unload items from trucks and vans with care and efficiency.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed to move heavy items safely.
- Drive box trucks or vans to transport goods to various locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as required during moves.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift safely (certification is a plus).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or vans is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
