What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at National Vascular Associates?
National Vascular Associates has an exciting opportunity to join our team! This is a full-time position for the right person who is looking to use their skills with a patient focused and growing medical group. This position will support our Vascular service in Virginia Beach.
The ideal candidate will have at least three (2) years of experience working in an outpatient setting handling receptionist/ front desk duties. We are looking for candidates who are skilled at welcoming patients and visitors to our clinic in a courteous and friendly manner, handling phone calls and scheduling patients, and checking patients in and out keeping the focus on the patient experience throughout their visit. Additionally, this role will include entering demographic and health history information into EHR system, understanding insurances, taking payments, scanning in documents, and related administrative and office duties as assigned.
Along with previous medical office experience, a HS diploma is required. Candidates must be efficient with computer programs including Microsoft office. Experience with Athena EHR is highly desired. Be detail oriented and skilled at multitasking. Critical thinking, the ability to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
