The Medical Receptionist at National VIP plays a pivotal role in supporting our Pain and Vein practice across our ( West Islip and Port Jefferson) Long Island locations.

Location Note: The ideal candidate will initially be based in our Port Jefferson & West Islip locations for training and/or work purposes. This is a direct hire role.

What you'll do...
- Greet registered patients upon their visit, triage patients through the patient flow process, and ensure a smooth experience.
- Fulfill clerical responsibilities, such as sending/receiving/scanning medical records, obtaining diagnostic reports and managing the charting process.
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of clinical equipment, promptly escalating issues to the supervisor.
- Answer phones, emails, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to appropriate personnel.
- Collect co-payments, update EMR system, insurance verification.
You should have...
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- EMR systems (1 year preferred)
- Spanish proficiency preferred. (required)
