This position reports to the sales desk managerKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Handles inbound calls from 800 line, assisting agents and NMO staff with their needs centered around product questions, new business, contracting and illustrations Builds and maintains relationships by promoting NWL products and services through outbound / inbound calls to new prospective agents / NMOs identifying qualified leads Assist with marketing campaigns through proactive contact and relationship building with new agents Work internally with other NWL departments to communicate agent / NMO's needs to more effectively and efficiently work together Help sales team with wholesaler proposals, product features, product positioning, business processing, etc. Meet or exceeds metrics assigned my sales desk manager Remain current and up to date on NWL products and industry trends Perform other duties as assignedLicenses & Certifications Life license or obtain within 180 days of employment LOMA Insurance Courses I & II or must complete within first year of employmentEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications preferred, but not required 1 year of phone based experience preferred 1 year of financial services / annuity experience preferred Experience with Microsoft office required Strong verbal and written communication skillsWork Environment Regular and predictable attendance is required.
