What You’ll Do as a Stocker/Load Builder
- Verify materials for quality and accuracy, ensuring they’re ready for delivery on time
- Organize and secure loads with strict safety procedures to prevent damage
- Assist in loading/unloading materials using manual techniques or forklifts
- Provide fast, friendly service to customers, including loading items safely
- Maintain inventory organization to ensure efficiency and accessibility
- Build loads for delivery, carefully packaging materials for safe transport
- Assist customers with merchandise selection and pulling items for checkout
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to keep our yard running smoothly
- Take on additional tasks as needed
What It Takes to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in construction or building materials (preferred, not required)
- Forklift experience (1 year preferred)
- Proficiency with computer programs and inventory systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs (with assistance) and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and kneeling
- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include Saturdays, nights and holidays
- A results-driven attitude and commitment to serving with humility and integrity
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
