Job Description:
As a Loan Officer at Nations Mortgage, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and guiding clients through the entire loan process. You will build and maintain relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, and other referral partners to drive business growth and ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Help collect and organize paperwork for loan applications.
- Support the sales team with finding new customers and managing existing ones.
- Communicate with customers to get the information and documents needed for loans.
- Conduct credit checks and verify income sources
- Answer customer questions and update them on their loan status.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the loan origination process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus but not required).
- Must have a valid NMLS Mortgage Originator License.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential mortgage lending.
- Comfortable with cold-calling and managing incoming live transfers.
- Strong communication skills.
