Position Overview:
Are you ready to make an impact and be part of something big? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our press machines to ensure optimal performance and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will be proactive in performing maintenance tasks, managing supplies, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
What You'll Do:
Operate and maintain digital press machines, utilizing Print OS and Knowledge Zone systems effectively.
Perform routine maintenance and calibrations to ensure optimal press performance and minimize downtime.
Inspect print quality during and after production, diagnosing and resolving defects as needed.
Manage and track inventory using the Supplies Inventory Manager, replenishing consumables and replacing parts as required.
Set up substrates for new products and create job impositions for various production needs.
Coordinate with service technicians to address machine issues promptly and maintain communication on resolutions.
Maintain organized workflows, secure documentation, and adhere to safety and disposal guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting and standardizing policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 3 years of experience with digital press operations (preferred).
Proficiency in computer programs, including Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and imposition tools.
Basic knowledge of substrates, including finishes, grains, and GSM weights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years professional experience
