Key Responsibilities :

Crew & Subcontractor Management : Lead and supervise roofing foremen and subcontractors to ensure efficient, safe roof installations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Safety & Compliance : Conduct safety audits, resolve concerns, and ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites.

Customer Communication : Engage with customers regularly, addressing progress, questions, and issues, while ensuring satisfaction with completed work and warranties.

Project Coordination : Oversee the execution of all project phases, including scope reviews, material management, and tracking labor hours, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including safety plans, work schedules, and change orders. Regularly update project management tools and Salesforce.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and external stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule, meet budget, and meet quality standards.

Quality Control : Monitor and maintain project quality by ensuring that work adheres to specifications and best practices.

Additional Responsibilities :

Prepare, review, and administer proposals, contracts, and purchase orders.

Investigate incidents and resolve discrepancies in billing and contracts.

Participate in project meetings, manufacturer inspections, and post-project reviews to contribute feedback and improve processes.

Skills / Qualifications :

10 years experience with managing a crew of commercial roofers on production (construction) jobs

Experience of a wide range of commercial roofing systems and roofing manufacturers.

Read and understand specifications and blueprints.

Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Willing to be trained and use company software.

Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality control, and project documentation.

Ability to effectively manage crews and multiple aspects of roofing projects.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
