We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our agency team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our insurance customers, providing exceptional support and assistance. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others with a smile. The candidate must be bilingual in both English/Spanish with a fluent proficiency and able to obtain insurance producer license within the required time.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support through various channels including phone, email, and chat.
- Provide prompt, efficient customer service.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain customer records.
- Conduct outbound calling to follow up on customer inquiries or feedback.
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Utilize computer systems to document interactions and track resolutions.
- Maintain professionalism and phone etiquette during all customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a call center or customer service environment of at least one year is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to type efficiently while communicating with customers.
- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to customer support.
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish, fluent proficiency is required.
- This position requires a background check, a clean background will be required for this position.
- Must be able to provide friendly, courteous, respectful customer service with a smile.
- Must be able to obtain P&C license within 45 days of hire date
