Essential Functions:
- Performs clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as necessary.
- Collects, documents, and reports vital signs. Completes screening questions and documents all items into medical record.
- Promotes general patient safety and performs minor specimen testing. Holds, positions patients, and assists with procedures. Preps all materials and supplies as needed.
- Remains compliant with HIPAA, maintains professionalism and ensures confidentiality of patient information.
- Ensures environmental standards are met and all clinic and patient areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
- Identifies learning needs, completes continuing education, and participates in offered educational opportunities. Acts as a preceptor and trains other staff.
