Essential Functions:
- Assists with the daily operations of the department, including policies and procedures, budget management, recruitment, and other administrative tasks.
- Supervises department staff, providing clinical leadership and expertise and ensuring compliance with performance standards and external regulatory agencies. Assists with the training and continuing education of staff.
- Performs the clinical duties of department staff, effectively interacting with patients, families, health care teams and supervised staff.
- Participates in departmental planning, marketing and implementation of new programs. Assists with coordination of departmental performance improvement activities.
- Serves as an advocate and liaison for department in committees and meetings and with internal and external groups.
Bachelor's Degree in related field, required.
Licensure Requirement
