Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required.
- Monitors patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored.
- Maintains MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret MRI images and provide accurate diagnoses.
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.
Licensure Requirement
- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
- Current CPR Certification, required.
- ARRTcertification (MRI)within 1 year of employment, required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience
- Twoyears of clinical experience in the RadiologicSciences, required.
- One year of experience in MRI procedures, preferred.
- Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
