In these positions, the qualified otolaryngologists will join the faculty of Nationwide Children’s Hospital department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Toledo in Toledo, Ohio to continue the expansion of this service line, supported by dedicated nursing and nurse practitioners at the Toledo office. Call responsibilities will be shared.
The qualified candidates will be dynamic self-starting individuals with interest in development of a pediatric otolaryngology program for those seeking the pediatric position. Interest in continued participation in Comprehensive Otolaryngology can be supported as well for those pursuing the pediatric otolaryngologist position. The candidates will be BC/BE Otolaryngologists and those seeking the pediatric otolaryngology position will have completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship. All candidates will have obtained an unrestricted Ohio medical license.

- Diagnoses patient's injuries or illnesses and determines appropriate surgical procedures.
- Examines patient's medical history, allergies, and current medications to avoid potential complications during surgery.
- Monitors patient's vital signs during surgery and adjusts anesthesia as necessary.
