Essential Functions:
- Performs semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly in accordance with protocols approved by the principal investigator.
- Collects and curates experimental data, maintains accurate daily logs of experiments including methods and results, and draws preliminary conclusions.
- Assists the principal investigators in the preparation of scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations.
- Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and ensures that research equipment is in good working order.
- Follows all appropriate lab safety protocols and other regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, required.
- Coursework in relevant research methods, preferred.
