Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role involves verifying compounded prescriptions while actively participating in both non-sterile and sterile compounding processes. The ideal candidate will bring relevant compounding experience but training on our specific procedures will be provided for the right fit.
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Compensation: $62.50 - $70.00/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Review and verify compounded and standard prescriptions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications while adhering to applicable laws and guidelines.
- Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide expert guidance to patients and providers regarding medications, drug safety, and potential interactions.
- Ensure precise input and maintenance of patient records.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians in alignment with state regulations.
- Maintain compliance with DEA, FDA, USP <795>, USP <800>, and USP <71> standards.
- Support adherence to PMP reporting requirements and accreditation standards (PCAB).
Qualifications
- Arizona-licensed Pharmacist (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding and adherence to HIPAA guidelines
- Compounding experience (Non-Sterile and/or Sterile) preferred; willing to train the right candidate
- Multiple state pharmacy licenses preferred
