Position Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician at Nationwide Compounding Rx®, you’ll play an essential role in processing and dispensing prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Working alongside pharmacists, you will help prepare medications, maintain accurate patient records, assist customers with prescription inquiries, and support inventory management. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to an efficient and positive patient experience.

- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- No nights, weekends, or major holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Operate pharmacy software to obtain patient and prescription information, ensuring prescriptions are processed accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare prescriptions for dispensing under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pharmacy law and practice standards.
- Verify prescription details, ensuring that all information is correct before dispensing medications.
- Ensure all non-sterile (USP <795>), sterile (USP <797>) and hazardous (USP <800>) compounded and non-compounded medications are dispensed with pharmaceutical care and excellence.
- Establish and maintain accurate patient and clinic profiles, ensuring information is kept up-to-date.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide prompt, considerate, and professional service to all customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding prescriptions and medications.
- Assist with inbound and outbound calls, ensuring all data entry tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy (required).
- Prior experience in compounding or pharmacy work is preferred.
